In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner of School Education & Ex-Officio Project Director, RMSA, Ibrahimpatnam, Amaravati is pleased to accord permission for introducing the Self defense training course for Girl Students of Classes 8tth & 9th in 5005 Schools of Govt HS, ZPHS, KGBVs and Model Schools of 13 Districts during the Academic year 2016-17 through M/s.Bandi Institute of Martial Arts (BIMA) - Training Agency to empower their self confidence and self defensive mechanism. An MoU has been made with the M/s.Bandi Institute of Martial Arts (BIMA) - Training Agency for implementation of the intervention " Training in Martial Arts to all Girls/Self Defense" under Project-Girls Empowerment of RMSA. The major aim of introducing martial arts is not only to know various self protection techniques but also to attain physical fitness and sound mind.
Therefore, as per the MoU, the total sessions allocated for the Self Defense Training by M/s.Bandi Institute of Martial Arts (SIMA) - Training Agency for the Academic year 2016-17 are 24 sessions.
Hence, the District Educational Officers & District Project Co-ordinators of all the 13 Districts are hereby directed to follow the Monitoring plan enclosed and also provide logistical support required for the State team visits.
