In the reference cited, the Commissioner of School Education has submitted that School Education Department has extensive data regarding students, teachers and important programs like Mid day Meals in its IT systems. All this information is centralized in a database, but there are no systems or
software that can show a comprehensive dashboard to assist the Department better and to understand the performance of the students, teachers and different programs. She has further submitted that Vassar Labs IT Solutions Pvt., Ltd. has submitted a proposal for development of “Core CM Dashboards for Department of School Education” and proposed to customize its IoT platform to bring together dashboard leveraging the data currently collected by the department. The main
objective of the project is to develop a set of comprehensive dashboards for the Department of School Education to provide the officials with actionable information and enable them to take necessary interventions. Some of the Dashboards will be consolidated into Master Dashboard to enable easy access to data, but more importantly give a comprehensive view of the overall performance of the school,teacher or various programs.
2. In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of School Education, A.P. Amaravati, after careful examination of the matter, in consultation with the IT,E&C Department, Government hereby accord permission to the Commissioner of School Education, A.P. Amaravati, to engage the services of M/s Vassar Labs IT Solutions Pvt Ltd. which is already a selected innovative partner by IT,E&C
Department vide para 3.6 of G.O.Ms.No.12, ITE&C (Infra) Department, dated 08.06.2015 to customize its IoT platform to bring together dashboard leveraging the data currently collected by the department and to develop a set of comprehensive dashboards for the School Education Department thereby some of the Dashboards will be consolidated into Master Dashboard to enable easy access to data, but more importantly give a comprehensive view of the overall performance of the school, teacher and various programs of School Education Department. For implementation of this project, administrative approval is hereby accorded for an amount of Rs.1,20,75,000/-(One Crore, Twenty Lakhs, Seventy Five Thousand only).
3. The Commissioner of School Education shall issue work order to M/s Vassar Labs IT Solutions Private Limited and sign the agreement as per proposal of M/s Vassar Labs dated 14.10.2016 and terms and conditions therein.
