All the Commissioners of 59 ULBs in the State where Municipal Schools exist are here by informed that the Government have decided to introduce Bio-Metric systems in all the Municipal High Schools at the l" Phase. In this regard one day orientation to the District ULB Coordinators and District Conveners was conducted and necessary instructions were given on 03.02.2017 at the 010 the DMA, Guntur.
2. In this connection all the Commissioners are requested to take-up the following activities immediately and enable to introduce the programme by 15.02.2017.
a) Conduct a meeting with Head-Masters of High Schools and Data Entry Operators of the Schools
b) Each School shall register themselves in - "vidyawaan.nic.in" login.
c) Head-Master should enroll all the staff and students of their school.
d) Instruct all the Head-Masters of High Schools and District/ULB Coordinators to monitor the status of registration and obtain daily reports.
e) Identify one technical assistant who can guide the schools on Bio-Metric systems from among the regular staff of ULB.
f) Identify the required number of (2 per High School) functional Bio-metric external devices (thumb scanner) from among the devices available with the Commissioner and get it ready.
3. All the Commissioners of Municipal Corporations & Municipalities are hereby instructed to follow the above instructions scrupulously and ensure for cent percent implementation of Bio-metric systems in the existing Municipal Schools in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
