All the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of SSA in the
State are informed that Krishna Pushkarams are celebrated once in twelve years.
This year “Krishna Pushkaram” is being celebrated from 12-08-2016 to
23-08-2016. The Government have decided to celebrate this event in a
prestigious manner and to conduct competitions viz Essays, Quiz, Elocution,
writing songs and painting on Krishna Pushkaram theme and also on the following
topics in English and Telugu.
Therefore, all the District Educational
Officers and Project officers of SSA are instructed to conduct Essays, Quiz,
Elocution, painting Competitions and writing songs on Krishna Pushkarams theme
implementing innovative ideas and keeping teacher in charge for every item of
the team in the school on the following day wise topics both in Telugu and
English for all High School children in all twelve days and furnish daily
reports through CSE Web:

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
prizes at District level may be given to winners from the funds sanctioned for
maintenance grants under RMSA funds to the High Schools of all managements not
exceeding Rs.5000/- for 12 days programme.
Further, with reference to the GO 3rd
read above, the DEO of Krishna/Guntur/kurnool is instructed to declare holidays
to the schools identified as directed by the District Collectors in the
Pushkaram Mandals. This would facilitate the school premises to be utilised for
allocating to individual departments for undertaking Pushkarams related
activities.
They are requested to issue instructions to Deputy
Educational Officers/ Mandal Educational Officers & Headmasters to
coordinate with all concerned to avoid any possible damage to school buildings,
furniture and records during the time of use of premises for Pushkarams
activities and for smooth and effective conduct of the programme. They are
further informed that the institutions should make up the working days lost by
compensating in subsequent months.
