OPPORTUNITY TO BE TRAINING PROVIDER OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN ANDHRA PRADESH MODEL SCHOOLS IN THE STATE
>The Government of India brought out a revised Centrally Sponsored
Scheme of Vocationalisation of Secondary Education of Ministry of HRD by
integrating employability education into School Education in September
2011.
>The scheme is operated within the National Vocational Education
Qualifications Framework (NVEQF) which is now subsumed to be NSQF
(National Skill Qualification Framework), which establishes a system of
clear educational pathways from school to higher education while
providing certification of vocational skills.
>State Government of Andhra Pradesh is implementing the scheme as a
pilot in 26 AP Model Schools in the current academic year from 2015-16
through Training Partners.
> The State Government is keen to outsource the entire Training Delivery in
these schools to Training Partners and has approached Sector Skill Council
and NSDC to give a panel of shortlisted Training Partners for the roll out.
> The medium of instruction SHOULD BE IN TELUGU & ENGLISH.
>All Manuals & Text Materials should be translated to TELUGU & ENGLISH
